Tbh, I was expecting this to be a comedy, so was startled by the feels it induced 🥺
Things I Like
- The man is such a kind person. I respect the way he is continuing to live his life despite his wife’s passing
- The flashbacks/connections to the man’s wife are sweet but sad
- Cat things that cat owners can relate too
Things That Could Be Improved
- The way Fukumaru talks is kinda grating cos it doesn’t roll off the tongue very well…
- I’d like to see some other cats eventually
Verdict
This is one I’ll read sparingly. I can never tell if a chapter will be full-on sweetness or have that bitter edge to it, which keeps me on my toes but also doesn’t encourage me to binge read. Which is not a bad thing 😊
