I really wanted to like this.
Things I Like
- How priest is becoming more comfortable with the demon lord
- The way the demon lord speaks
- The introduction of the new character who can use holy spells despite being a criminal
Things That Could Be Improved
- I want to see more of what’s happening back at the demon lord’s castle
- Mage and warrior are kinda dumb and annoying
- Poor demon lord hasn’t really managed to go to many tourist destinations
Verdict
So there isn’t really anything that stand-out about this title. In fact, it’s probably squandering it’s concept. But I still find myself emnoying it? It’s like a comfort read 😂 Or maybe I’m just super invested in the priest and demon lord’s growing…friendship (if that’s what you can call it). So I’ll probably keep reading it because it’s just kinda nice to read in between the actual plot/comedy heavy titles on Manga PLUS. And if I’m lucky maybe it will actually deliver on it’s main concept (provided it doesn’t get the axe first).
