Yay! A sports series!
Things I Like
- The main character is kinda up himself but in a funny way
- Good set-up with the main character’s background
- I like this type of sports manga. Mostly realistic and learning about the sport as the main character does.
Things That Could Be Improved
- The rival character is annoying
Verdict
WSJ hasn’t had a solid sports series for awhile, so nice to have this in Jump Plus to fill that gap. I know Two On Ice and Green Green Greens have recently launched, but not sure if they will avoid the axe yet.
