Walk-in Linen Fabric Boxes

Finally finished my foam board storage box collection. Felt like a good way to use pretty fabrics in a way that I get to appreciate them everyday haha. Or in the case of the checkered box, use up fabric that I bought online for fashion purposes without realising how rough the texture actually was…

I used a modification on the Butterick B6362 storage bins pattern. I adjusted the size to fit my WIL and added handles to the top. They are surprisingly sturdy. Officeworks getting a lot of money from me for the foam boards. But don’t buy the multi-pack online cos their robot pickers are stupid and you’ll end up with a single sheet, instead of 5 of them…

This was the first project where I used By Annie’s clear vinyl. I’m impressed by how nice it is to sew.
