I was interested in this because I read an article about it ending soon, and there was positive commentary about the direction the mangaka was taking the plot.
Unfortunately I absolutely cannot stand Phos. The world building is amazing. I studied a bit of geology so the gem/mineral aspects is really cool and their mysterious enemy is also really interesting, but…Phos.
Also, the art is very nice and stylistic but I have problems telling characters apart.
Being Kodansha there is a chance it might become available via a Humble Bundle at some point, in which case I would purchase it (if it the series was complete). But given the library doesn’t have even half the volumes available in English, I just can’t justify the time or cost to give this series a longer chance.
