Squid Fashion Exhibit #5
Fashion Theme: Dodgy old dude a.k.a the Master Roshi set. Although the shirt isn’t Hawaiian (it’s cooler…?). The old theme also kinda works with the momiji sticker on my preferred variant 😝
Emote: No Chill fits how I feel when I switch to a shooter weapon. I used to also use Splattershot and Splash with this gear set and emote, so it kinda just stuck.
Gear Intent: More bombs and there’s no way I’d get any kills with this weapon without Ninja Squid 😅
Overall Thoughts: Junior is my favourite of the short range shooters. Splattershot just doesn’t have a satisfying sfx imo. And Junior just seems more fun than Splash or Zap, even if it can’t kill well.
Vanilla Junior is nice when I feel like maining Splat Bomb (hardly ever), and was used a bit on Tower Control when my partner used to play Luna with me in Open, but those days are long gone. So I don’t really use the Vanilla kit much.
Custom is good for certain maps when playing Splatfest with my friends. Having a bomb, good inking ability and good movement means I can hold my own, which at least tends to prevent us ending up spawn camped…
