Squid Fashion Exhibit #7
Fashion Theme: White and Red. I was aiming to coordinate with the jacket but the REEF-LUX itself is white so that works out too. Since it’s a college jacket went for the smarty-pants look 😝
Emote: Three shots hence the three finger…pose? salute? whatever that is. I made this gear set before the multiple REEF-LUX nerfs so the weird little dance kinda matched my feeling of ‘yeaaahhh…I’m another one of those…’
Gear Intent: One main of SPU so I can try to get as many of the enemy in the missile sights. One main of ISS so I’d almost always have enough ink to throw one (since the main itself is pretty ink efficient). The usual utility subs and the rest is just MISSILES MISSILES MISSILES.
Overall Thoughts: I think this weapon is very cool. I like the changes that have been made so the weapon playstyle fits more of what I’m sure the intent was meant to be LOL. If I hadn’t gone down the play-all-the-weapons rabbit hole, this is one I would have liked to really try and master. For example, I never use the charge hold on this, and I rarely use the jump shot either. So definitely room for improvement.
On a side note, this weapon has my highest turf freshness. Missiles really are just too good for turf 😅
