Even going in knowing this would be corny didn’t stop me from wincing a bit. Still, it’s not like it was so bad it was unbearable.
This series is weird to me because I don’t have a favourite character, I don’t find the mystery super intriguing, I don’t get all the book references, but I would still probably read a third book. It’s not even a comfort read. It’s an easy quick read I guess. Maybe the equivalent of a palate cleanser?
Actually you know what? This series kinda feels like a 40-yo’s baby sitters club lol.
