The segue into the author’s next series was hilarious. Was not expecting 4th wall breaking in that fashion. Poor Mark. I thought you were fine as the main character haha.
This series was low key funny. I think the funniest parts to me were Mark and his school friend just accepting the whole assassin thing and then kinda double-taking on the absurdity of it all just to give up and accept it again haha.
I guess I also enjoyed it for the mundane adult/life stuff juxtaposed against the assassin stuff.
I’m kinda glad the author’s next series is starting straight away. While I didn’t necessarily look forward to each chapter I did enjoy reading each one.
