Hey a slice of life girls friendship series that isn’t in the vein of cute girls do cute things
Things I Like
- Machi’s backstory on why she can live alone as a highschooler LOL
- How Machi shut-down her would-be bully
- I like Machi’s personality (feels relatable if I decided not to play nice with the rest of society…)
- Oboro meeting other ninjas from her village trying to make it in the non-ninja world
Things That Could Be Improved
- Bully girl obsessing over her childhood friend isn’t that funny
Verdict
Machi and Oboro play off each other well enough. I feel like this is the kinda series that will get better the more characters (and their quirks) that are introduced, kinda like Gintama. Chapter 10 already showed a glimpse of what that could look like 🤣 but even so the main trio are pretty entertaining as is.
