I felt like it was a pretty lacklustre year for music. It felt like I was giving a lot of songs 3☆, and comparing to 2023 (101 5☆), this year I only had 64 5☆… I felt like a lot of the songs I favourited were the type where I actually started to get tired of them the more I listened to them (Chocolat Cadabra the biggest one on this list). Plus no super catchy anisong either. I guess my ranking would be:

1. Daten Dance – it’s Camellia 🙃 Sure it’s not Nanahira singing, but I like Stella’s voice, it’s like a cross between P丸様。and Mori Calliope
2. Cho Kyori Renai – I just find it so catchy 🤣 chou onegai!
3. Doushitaraii – the low ‘ne’ is great and grabs my attention every time, actually I find myself waiting for it 😁
4. Wannabe – I was so confused when I saw the cover art for this because I didn’t think Choujin X was getting an anime. And it wasn’t. Just a collab between artists who respect each other 😊 I feel like it’s a perfect image song for the manga though.
5. Hippocampal Pain – this is a song that slowly builds up so I like the second half much more than the first, but at the same it wouldn’t be the same without the first 😅

The algorithm has figured out I like girl groups 🤣 Also I tried listening to a bunch of Hololive albums and like only added one song to my library LOL (Perisai Jitu by Moona).
