I didn’t mind it. But it sure doesn’t compare to Eyeshield 21. I think in the end it wasn’t that interesting because Kinzan was too overpowered. I did like how Kiyotaka was grappling with his confidence issues, but it was kinda obvious how that was all going to play out.
I got a bit confused by the girl rugby players. They had their own team right? It would have been fun to follow them a bit.
The teacher was also fun. He cared but also really didn’t care LOL.
Was probably a good place to end since they had tackled (no pun intended) some pretty hard challenges, so seeing the team eventually triumph over the Perfect Squad’s teams wouldn’t really have felt that climactic.
