Things I Like
- Kids banding together as family
- I guess it’s kinda…realistic…that the older characters know they don’t have the capacity to care for all the slum kids…?
Things That Could Be Improved
- Art is a bit rough, characters often look a bit off-model
- It is a bit corny…despite the very violent setting
Verdict
I’m not very good with stories where kids go through cruel hardship…I guess I like at least a bit of fantasy or hope in my fiction. But also I wasn’t very convinced by the way the kids used the weapons. Like…they are so small, surely they would struggle with the recoil of a gun? Or what about wielding a sword that’s taller than they are? So not feeling this one.
