Book Review: Fire & Water

Sooooo, I was really enjoying this book. Full of irreverent and irresponsible shenanigans with Kate’s wonderfully sarcastic narration. And then it got even better, giving Elise a turn as the protagonist, and that was fun in a whole ‘nuther way. And then it concluded. In a horrible horrible way. But I mean that in a good way? The book did something bad to a character I adore and then is all ‘well gotta read the next book to find out how we fix everything!’ which was a bit of a downer tbh 😅 but in a ‘that’s how much the author made me care about their characters’ way.

So I also actually really liked Sebastian until he did the unthinkable. But still gotta respect his perseverance and planning LOL.

This book was longer than I expected. I probably won’t read the last one for a while, or at least until I can’t take that my fave character is stuck in limbo (from my point of view) 🤣
