Overall Thoughts: I picked this up because I felt like the game wanted me to play a shooter if I wanted to not lose miserably, but I didn’t want to play shooters anymore. So essentially I play this like a shooter with a panic button (dodge roll) and panic special (if I’m gonna die might as well try take them with me).
I’ve grown to like the weapon though. Sometimes I come across players who actually know how to use use dualies properly and I wouldn’t mind learning some of the manoeuvres they pull off. Like dodge-rolling off a height to pinpoint accurately hit their target. Given both Splatoon 2 and 3 haven’t messed up the kits for any of the Splat Dualies, I think if something similar comes back for Splatoon 4, I should learn it as my all-rounder weapon. It’s technical enough to be interesting while still painting well and I bet it will get a good bomb of sorts.
