Gear Intent: Thermal Ink cos this weapon is so bad at killing, but knowing where the enemy is helps to set up the fast-fire dodgeroll. Object Shredder cos otherwise it’s just depressing trying to get rid of chumps lol. ISM cos I spend a lot of time putting down ink but want to be able to be aggressive if the situation arises. SCU cos Killer Wail is great for this weapon IMO. It has the range to try follow-up after displacing backlines or just helps with survivability when getting rushed down.
Overall Thoughts: This weapon is really fun. The single dodge-roll means you need to plan and commit which means it’s best to avoid panic rolls haha. I’d say Ink Mine also synergises with the main (although that doesn’t mean Ink Mine is good…). It’s really great in turf. Not so much in Ranked since it’s not great at killing and doesn’t have an offensive sub. While the dodge-roll is good for getting a kill, due to the accuracy and loss of movement, it’s not really any good if your team has the numbers disadvantage cos you will just get traded back 😔 But definitely an interesting weapon. My favourite from the dualies class.
