Fashion Theme: My fave black and white items 😊 I love visors, the Half-Sleeve Sweater is a fave from Splatoon 2 and the shoes remind me of the Adidas Superstars I used to wear before I realised I needed orthotics haha. Sorta cheating with this headgear, it does have glasses on it, but it’s at the back of the visor 😝
Emote: The Square Show-Off for brushes is cute. Stretchy stretchy, just like a Zipcaster lol.
Gear Intent: Comeback because I try to play this aggressive. Drop-roller because a brush can sometimes either roll and smack any jump-campers or roll and keep rolling away from danger. Plus it’s useful for Zipcaster recall for the same reasons so feels more worthwhile on this weapon than Stealth Jump. I didn’t bother with Ninja Squid since a lot of the time I’m rolling in plain sight but stacked some SSU instead, not only to get back into the action faster but to try and capitalise on opportunities where possible.
Overall Thoughts: I only picked this up because I didn’t have a Zipcaster weapon yet. To my surprise it’s actually a very self-sufficient weapon. It can ink well, can kill ok, has a lethal bomb, has good mobility and can harass backlines with it’s special. The only issue is I kinda suck at sharking (I can’t get the timing quite right) and definitely suck at Zip lol. But despite that, playing this weapon often doesn’t come with the feeling of helplessness like when I play most other weapons. And because of its versatility I can usually try to play the role that’s required based on my comp or teammates behaviour lol. So it’s ended up being one of my favourite weapons this game despite originally thinking I would never like Zipcaster.
