Manga Plus: Jinrui-Shoku Chapters 1-45 Review

I only just looked up what δΊΊι‘žθ• means (human eclipse) and wow its a fitting name for sure

I kinda started reading this more for the friendship between Seita and Hayato (as well as curiosity as to their very odd situation) but it ended up having quite a gripping story.

Certain parts were kinda creepy (when Hayato’s foster sister starts getting stalked) and others were kinda camp (the 7 school mysteries).

For the most part the series kept me on my toes, Inukai was almost a second main character. And Tsukiko also pushed Seita/Hayato out of the limelight quite a bit towards the end πŸ˜‚

I guess I wasn’t expecting the scope of the situation to be so huge, so that was pretty cool. Usually it would feel really unrealistic for children to play such a large part in solving situations based in the modern world but I guess the psychic aspect made it more believable, plus Inukai was an adult.

I had fun with the way they treated Pokke and I thought all the characters were pretty likeable.

To be honest, I forgot a lot about how the mummily-fication worked but that didn’t takeaway from my appreciation of the ending.

So overall a pretty solid and entertaining series πŸ‘
