Short and sweet 😋
You’d think since the title spells out the entire premise and resolution it would be boring but it was really interesting diving into the detail of how everything meshed together 😁 Each character was quite well-rounded. Given how short the story was, it wouldn’t have been surprising if they were all just stereotypes, but they had more depth than that.
I like that Cocoru and Alvin didn’t actually end up getting together…yet. More realistic that way.
I also liked how they kinda addressed how the world was game-like and that ultimately it didn’t really matter since you gotta live life no matter your situation. And how the sword skills were like a short-cut for skills that could be learnt via effort and muscle memory. Don’t know if it would also work for magic skills, but it was nice how it rewarded hard work. It sorta made me think of people who justify using a Thermomix because they know the principals behind whatever they are cooking 😝 (no judgement from me, cook however is easiest for you is my thoughts on the matter).
And yeah, this one didn’t need to drag on once they had figured out everything and overcome their first challenge as a team. But glad that I didn’t need to wait 5 years for Manga UP to release all the chapters LOL.
