Things I Like

• The system where the more complex a spirit looks the stronger it is
• Some interesting panelling and framing

Things That Could Be Improved

• The humour feels a bit off to me
• The juxtapositioning of the detailed and cartoon art is kinda jarring
• Neither of the main characters are particularly likeable

Verdict

This series kinda reminds me of a bunch of other ones:

• Oversleeping Takahashi with the wispy artstyle and weird humour
• Tokyo Ghoul with the humanoid evil spirit
• Kindergarten Wars with the girl and mascot suit duo

I’m vaguely interested in the spirit behind Iruka’s death and the super sus’ exorcist head temple. This series feels pretty high quality so I’ll give it another 10 chapters.
