- Honestly….nothing
Things That Could Be Improved
- The characters don’t feel fleshed out at all and became comrade-y weirdly fast
- The deaths seem to be going to shock factor but just feel rote
- The backstory about the previous Re/Member didn’t feel well explained, I’m still kinda confused (is Asuka dead or not???)
- The mechanism for the looping didn’t feel well explained either
Verdict
Well, knowing it’s a tie-in explains a lot. It totally felt like I was meant to be familiar with the previous entry, which made me wonder if it was a sequel manga. I think I might need to start reading the descriptions of series before I read them to make sure they aren’t tie-ins…
