Things I Like
- Happy actually has a pretty nice relationship with Dante? haha
- Happy gets into (mostly) relatable scenarios which makes me sympathise with her
Things That Could Be Improved
- More characters would be good, or more spotlight on some that have appeared a little already (Happy’s family, her best friend)
Verdict
I wonder if this series to me is how my husband kind of views Uncle From Another World haha. He finds that one too depressing to be funny. I can see how this one is a comedy, but yeah, too depressing to be funny. I guess the difference for me is that Happy isn’t really bringing the hardship onto herself (Uncle is honestly a bit lacking in social awareness so is partly to blame for some of his woes)? I mean, there are lots of people out there who are people pleasers I don’t think any of them deserve to have the kind of life Happy lives 😅 I feel like Giriko has kinda set a standard for these kinds of series, while her struggle meals are downright depressing, at least Giriko is having a fun life haha…
