• Wow, big betrayal by the girlfriend
• Premise is interesting
• Tight, small cast
• Good at building intrigue and being misleading via the character’s expressions

Things That Could Be Improved

• Main character figured out the link between the murders and the manga too quickly, it would have been more interesting if he had to build up confidence that it was related and not just coincidence
• Feels like the kind of mystery series where the reader can’t do sleuthing because of the lack of shared knowledge
• The characters feel shallow because the plot is moving so fast and it’s not going into their backgrounds that much
