This was a lot of fun! And in true Gege style it (from my pov) belatedly addressed questions brought up much earlier in the main series that appeared to be ignored haha.
I feel like I didn’t quite grasp the new hierarchy (seems like Okkotsu took over the Gojo family and Fushiguro the Zenin family to maintain the 3 top families?). But it wasn’t important to the plot.
Cross pretending to be Maru was cute. I love that Yuka noticed immediately. The 4-koma strips were also really funny. Maru being up for trying anything was also cute.
The whole aliens thing felt like a smart way to look at jujutsu/curse energy in a different way. I like how Dabura’s technique included an emotion that is indescribable from a human pov.
I feel like I missed the nature of Yuka’s disease, it must have been curse energy related if she was cured after Yuji and Cross’s interference?
The solution did feel a bit convenient, especially with Mahito existing somehow to be able to be used. But I’m fine with it, after all who can predict anything once aliens are involved lol.
Definitely buying the tankobons of this to go alongside my Jujutsu Kaisen ones.
