Villainess series are so hit and miss
Things I Like
- That this is her third life and that she’s basically living it like a granny
- Her approach of lying by omission lol
- Her Class D team is cool, I like how they all work together
- They’ve made it clear how her brother feels towards her but I’m curious how switched on her father is
- Her relationship with the Royal Spy is intriguing
- If she’s betrothed to the second prince, what’s the deal with the first prince?
- Interested in what role Cass played in her first life.
Things That Could Be Improved
- The nobles that look down on her are kind of annoying in how repetitive and oblivious they are, but I guess that’s kind of the point
- I sometimes don’t follow when she says she’s spelt things out/made them really obvious. Maybe the explanation is too roundabout?
Verdict
I wasn’t expecting to like this, I thought it would be reincarnated noble lady lives a laidback life with all the comforts of a noble life. Instead she goes around extorting money/favours out of people who wrong her, tries to support the growth of her peers who she sees as cute little children and then essentially enjoys a camping trip after getting mistakenly teleported into a super dangerous forest LOL. It’s fun in a completely different way to Katerina or Wellmy’s stories.
