Always feels weird when a series doesn’t even crack 20 chapters. Makes me feel silly doing a 10 chapter test on it lol.

I’m not too fussed this ended so quickly. They could have made more romantic drama by getting Luca to develop feelings for Mutsumi but I prefer it this way. I think Mutsumi and Luca have a good relationship where they help each other address their communication short-comings. The stuff with Luca’s little sister felt like it resolved very quickly, but sometimes just having someone to talk to about hardship can help and Mutsumi would be a good listener haha.
In hindsight it makes sense why James’ dad would relocate to Japan despite (or rather because) of the accusations against James. His situation was pretty realistic, rich/popular kids getting away with horrible/criminal behaviour and the video editing of James’ original video is something I could totally see happening.
It did feel a bit forced/rushed how Mutsumi and James ended up together. I guess I can put it down to their unique circumstances. And I feel there was missed potential in Mutsumi starting to develop a friendship with the girl who hated Luca. Plus Mutsumi’s family stuff that was alluded to ended up being a really minor misunderstanding??? But it was nice to end with the three of them in the same class in the new year lol.
