Damn, the Japanese title is harsh! The English translation is pretty good 😮
I really liked this series. I guess I haven’t read many Japanese college/university series? This one was nice because the characters were the more introverted type, so it wasn’t about getting drunk/laid but actually went into quite a few insecurities for both Lemon and Kogahara. I did like how it showed how the way both girls were treated in high school had a big impact on them. And also how they were such supportive friends, even when they both ended up interested in Sunao.
I thought they dealt with the progression from body swapping hijinks to romance very well. Although honestly the stand out character was Raika LOL. Suzuka was cool too lol, I’m glad his interest in Lemon (due to Sunao being in her body) was short-lived. The reason for the swap was logical enough? Disregarding the whole magical wish-fulfilment aspect of course haha.
Reflecting on the series, I can’t tell if it’s a good or bad thing that I don’t really remember any particular ‘moments’. I’m gonna say it’s a good thing because it meant the journey was just that seamless, nothing over the top and no long boring stretches. Although honestly I don’t think I would reread it or buy tankobons. But I do really appreciate that it exists, it was a really pleasant (and oftentimes amusing) read with likeable characters that also proves that girls and guys can be friends 😊
