I was also not expecting this to end so quickly…
I thought the coup was the start of a new arc, not the climax of the entire series 😅 But maybe that’s for the best, happy married life in the countryside doesn’t sound that interesting to me…
I liked watching Renfa give her all getting used to her new country and family. The relationship between her and her mother-in-law was very adorable.
The cooking stuff was nice too. I’m glad it formed the basis for a successful company that ended up supporting her good friends.
I was expecting a bit more information on/story involvinn the young princess and the husband’s friend-turned emperor. But I guess they weren’t the focus of this story.
Overall it was short and sweet, and importantly, not too sappy.
