I had no idea that “pension” had such a meaning in Japanese. Makes me wonder if it was something that should have been localised?
Things I Like
- Eri and Nica’s friendship was cute I guess
Things That Could Be Improved
- The art isn’t super great
- The supporting cast is very tropey (obsessive kouhai, stuck-up rich girl)
- The human/acclaimed “incidents” aren’t as heart-warming as they are probably trying to be
- It would be nice to actually learn more about what running a pension entails
Verdict
It’s not bad but it’s not very interesting either. Easily dropped.
