So short!
Just to get this out of the way.. the title isn’t translated quite right…right??? The connotations of the English title make it sound like they would rather not eat basashi if they had other choices…as opposed to the literal translation ‘I want to eat basashi’….is this a localisation thing cos westerners might not be able to fathom eating horse???
The premise was weird but cute. Some of the facial expressions were also weird but cute.
I’m impressed they managed to fit in some conflict and resolution between Kaede and her sister. I’m also pleasantly surprised that the two leads stayed platonic friends.
Overall, short and sweet. This premise definitely would have suffered from being dragged out.
