I feel like the title was slightly misleading as it wasn’t the ‘good’ God but the Demon God haha
Things I Like
- It’s actually pretty rough! They use the f-word! 🤣 and it’s fairly violent as well
- I was worried that it would feel jarring for the former Demon King to be kind to humans but there are no inconsistencies here since his former life was all about fighting other demons and the demon god
- He has a daughter figure that he wants to reunite with
- Political intrigue with the Elven populace
Things That Could Be Improved
- Things are a bit too easy for Hiram. It’s one of those easy-mode reincarnation series. I’m more ok with it when he explains what he is doing so it isn’t just ‘yeah I’m the strongest’
Verdict
I think I’m starting to understand what kind of reincarnation stories I like. I lean more towards the ones where they were strong in their previous lives and then are ambitious in their subsequent lives, as well as training those around them to also become stronger. Rather than easy-going reincarnation lifestyle. Basically I think my gold-standard is Nia the Merciless Maiden LOL. And if a series hits similar notes then I’m probably gonna like it.
