The book I planned to read ended up being one I had already read (lol) so I spontaneously just decided to read the next book in this series instead haha.

The mystery itself wasn’t that great to be fair. Based on the potential suspects and ruling out the obvious ones (Bainbridge, Willa and Madeline), there really was only one choice for the murderer. I guess the ‘mystery’ here instead was why he would have done what he did. I’m glad Frances and George didn’t need to break the law or be obnoxious interviewers this time around.
The photograph bit was too obvious though. But it brought a quick close to the investigation which is fine in my book haha. Maybe almost too quickly, the ending felt really abrupt…
