I honestly had low expectations for this one
Things I Like
- Modern day working lifestyles
- Tonami is self-aware enough to realise when Himi is teasing him
- Tonami and his long running friendship with his female friend from highschool
- I too do not understand Himi’s youth slang LOL
- Himi’s outfits
Things That Could Be Improved
- The characters are quite shallow at the moment. I want to know more about Kurobe in particular
- Very small cast
Verdict
Feels balanced to read this alongside Soon You’ll Paint Your Heart Out in terms of age gap relationships 🤣 Tonami is likeable and not a complete cardboard cutout. It also got straight to the point with Himi’s feelings. It seems like Kurobe gets Himi’s intentions so looking forward to what she does in reaction (tease Tonami? Be Himi’s wing-woman?). And curious how/if Tonami will end up seeing Himi in that way, since he seems to have completely ruled it out as a possibility.
