This book was pretty much as expected. Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, it was still written nicely enough that it was an easy (but not boring) read.
What I did gain from this book though was a renewed respect for all the routine vaccines we have nowadays. I was only sorta aware of diptheria and had no idea how horrifying tetanus is. Goddamn, the progression of the medical field is amazing.
I wonder if there will be a third book. I will probably read it if there is, mostly because of Julia. I would like to see her grow and support the team as well.
