Nooo my replacement for History’s Mentalist 😭
This was a fun series 😁 Kierke was like a more moody Ron Kamonohashi lol. John Locke played off him really well. And Pascal was just funny especially whenever he would whip out some random mathematic formula and forcefully link it to whatever the conversation was about at that point in time. Also amusing how there is no explanation for why all these philosophers are coming out of the woodwork (and being reincarnated into modern day) at all.
I thought it was going to be more of a music based manga, but they barely focused on the instruments at all. Which was fine to me because the philosophy stuff was more interesting imo. I did love that they called their band Verily, I Say Unto You though 🤣 Shame the series ended so soon after, I was looking forward to religious ideology clashes too (but maybe that would be too dangerous in this day and age).
My main complaint would be that Berry barely played any role at all. And I guess Kierke never met Socrates LOL. I was a bit curious about whether Socrates was also the real deal or a pretender. Imagine Kierke’s reaction if it was a faker hahahahah.
