Cute but super accurate title
Things I Like
- The way Yuuta and Octo became friends 🤣
- Giant cat Carrot
- The way reality gets distorted so normal people don’t realise how weird the wish manifestations are
- Octo will definitely ‘evolve’ as the series continues which I think will be interesting
- The way there are casualties from people caught in the crossfire and how Yuuta acknowledges and is remorseful about it
- There is obviously a reason why 24 stars ended up in earth and I’m interested in knowing what that is
Things That Could Be Improved
- Sometimes the art is a bit sketchy
- More recurring characters outside the main four would be good, atm it’s a bit villain-every-3-chapters-ish
Verdict
The dynamic between Yuuta and Octo is very fun but also frustrating (from Yuuta’s pov) but you can really tell how much he adores her regardless. It’s an interesting spin on a bunch of fairly common tropes but I guess Octo fully embracing her new form adds a bit of extra comedy. In general I’m really enjoying Octo being so off the rails and Yuuta having to go super far in the other direction to offset her 😝 Hopefully can get into a groove soon, it still feels like it’s in the introduction stage.
