For some reason I love that this can be abbreviated to ABC.
I love this series! It’s like Dr Stone with the science education but somehow even more zany because everything gets tied back to baseball 🤣 And I think I didn’t end up learning a thing about baseball! But it was still super fun 😂
This was a very upbeat series. There were quite a few things that happened where I was worried about the ‘realistic’ potential scenarios but the series kinda glossed over those and I was glad that they did haha:
- Nina giving birth on a planet without modern medicine and not having any complications
- Takasugi and Nina not aging due to the Yaluru body fluids, returning to earth and not being locked up for experimentation on how to obtain ‘eternal youth’
- Light being a human/Yaluru mix and also not getting locked up for experimentation since he’s an alien hybrid
I seriously was not expecting them to actually make it back to Earth and definitely not in the science-based manner via a spaceship. I totally thought if they did it would be through another wormhole. And like Takasugi, did not expect that human ethics would be something that would need to be taught (to his daughter) haha.
The ending was amazing. The cycle continues! Baseball equals galactic peace! 😝
