The way they split up the chapters for this was ridiculous
Short and sweet I guess? Glad they didn’t drag it out. I wonder how to feel about it though. The husband was rather obsessive over many many years. But I guess he did that in the shadows and then saved her from her abusive family. Overall I suppose a less nuanced look at familial abuse than My Happy Marriage.
I did find the lack of understanding by multiple characters over multiple things a bit hard to believe. Do they not have methods of communication in this world? Everyone just lives in their own bubble?
I feel like I need to treat this more like a one-shot and in that case, it did a pretty good job in terms of having a decent plot/series of events that led to the marriage and it also wrapped things up neatly in the short page time.
