Shorter than I expected
Lots of things ended with a lot less fanfare than I expected. I totally thought Doug going missing was going to lead into a big story arc. Instead he quit being a knight as well as got over his crush on Chris. Which was actually a bit of a relief to be honest haha.
I also thought Lombard’s investigation was going to take a lot longer. It ended up feeling a bit convenient? Why did Olivia have the whole plan written down and hidden in her room? That’s bad planning LOL. But I forgive it because I wasn’t expecting the actual revelation. Which made the supposed battle for the crown no longer a thing at all. Hell did Sephis even show up at all? Poor Lombard though, and his mother too.
I liked that in this series Chris could be a knight and fight as well as be a lady and wear nice clothes and be in a relationship. Even if I never really cared for Cedric that much haha.
