Kind of glad to be finished with this
This one got put on hold for quite a while because I was using it as the series to use remaining UP, but then Rooming With A Gamer Girl came along and took it’s spot. The story was fairly cute but I was a bit put off by two things. The first was the male gaze was strong with this one LOL. To the point where I couldn’t ignore it. Secondly the search for the ‘My Lord’ felt like it was going glacially slowly. Funnily though, when I signed up for the free monthly subscription trial, it seemed I started binge reading it right as the search actually started getting results. So it wasn’t as much of a slog to finish as I thought.
The addition of Nun was welcome, although probably didn’t make a big difference to the story. One thing I would have liked to know though, was why the Aster family fell into such disrepute. Just fighting in the war didn’t seem like a big enough reason, surely other families would have also done the same thing. An unearthing of the Aster family from their lofty position to the last Aster Knight would have been interesting. But not the scope of this story haha.
