What I Liked
- Kanna is the best and Iemori made the right decision. Their stories about how they fell for each other was cute.
- Himenono was interesting as a teacher haha
Where I Think Things Went Wrong
- Himari (and definitely Kanna) never really were in the running
- Tried to be wholesome and a harem manga at the same time which just felt weird…
- The ‘work relationship’ between Himari and Iemori was awkward and felt very unrealistic at points
- Iemori’s reactions and support of Kanna also felt kinda unrealistic? Not that I know how teenage boys generally react to pin-ups but I feel like Iemori probably isn’t reacting like the norm (where yes, the norm I’m referring to is the boys from Oblivion Battery lol)
Conclusion
Does Hima-Ten! have an alternate meaning to Himari/Tenichi mashed together? Because otherwise it probably seems pretty misleading haha. I was borderline hate reading this but at the same time felt optimistic the girl I was rooting for was gonna win so that kinda made it a little more bearable lol.
